SSF- State Tournament Gearing Up

A notebook edition of the SSF.   With the winter weather causing changes in the NHIAA tournament competitions Sherm covers the upcoming matchups in girls/boys basketball and hockey and the game schedules.

 

Coach Bill Taylor joins Sherm to review the Exeter Bluehawk boys preliminary tourney game with Goffstown Grizzlies. 

 

During the “Two Minute Drill”  Sherm gives an update on the Girls Division One Basketball Semifinal pairings.

The NHIAA Division 1 Boys and Girls Tournament Brackets are up and Sherm is joined by Jay Pinsonnault from Seacoast Media Group to break down the matchups.

 

The talk shifts to baseball and Jay’s article on Seacoastonline.com that highlights seacoast baseball prospects playing in MLB spring training camps.

The D1 regular basketball and hockey seasons for boys and girls teams are wrapping up and teams preparing for the upcoming tournaments standings.

It’s a big football weekend with the focus on the Patriots in the big game against the Seahawks.

 

Roger Brown from NHFootballReport.com joins Sherm to discuss that contest but also with breaking news in Granite State D1 football with the resignation of the head coach of the state champion Bedford Bulldogs.
