On this edition of the SSF Sherm and Jay Pinsonnault are joined by Scott Bleakly the general manager of the Northeast Tides  from the North Shore Baseball League.

 

The league leading Tides will be holding a special fund raiser…the annual Drew Ceppetelli Memorial game supporting the special fund set up in Drew’s memory.  Jay and Scott give background to the cause as well as the league overall.

 

The podcast wraps up with the guys talking about the MLB All-Star game…the Red Sox and their picks to win the second half of the season.

The Red Sox fire Alex Cora…The Bruins lose in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs to Buffalo and the Celtics get bounced out of the NBA tourney by the 76ers.
