The Red Sox fire Alex Cora…The Bruins lose in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs to Buffalo and the Celtics get bounced out of the NBA tourney by the 76ers.

 

Thats the Bad and Ugly sports news but Sherm has Good sports news on this edition of the SSF which features schoolboy/schoolgirl highlights from the week including the latest NHIAA standings.

 

The “Two Minute Drill” highlights three standout Seacoast athletes.

SSF- Spring Sports Scorecard

Jay Pinsonnault and Brandon Brown from Seacoast Media Group are Sherm’s guest on this edition of the SSF with the focus on the first two weeks of the spring schoolboy/girl sports season.

 

The talk shifts to the NFL draft…the NBA and NHL playoffs for the Celtics and Bruins and wraps up with Jay’s take on the Red Sox.

SSF- Seacoast Special Olympics Event

The Special Olympics will be holding their Seacoast event on May 27th at Exeter High School and our guest is Jim Tufts the coordinator of the big day.

 

Jim and Sherm discuss the highlights of the Seacoast Olympics and how folks can volunteer to be a part of the events.

 

The guys also talk about two of Jim’s favorite sports hockey and soccer….the Bruins in the Stanley Cup playoffs and the World Cup coming this summer to New England and Jim's long time involvement in lacrosse officiating.

Its time to play baseball and host Sherm Chester is joined by Jay Pinsonnault of the Seacoast Media Group to size up the upcoming Red Sox season and the rest of the American and National League teams.

 

Baseball talk shifts to the 2026 high school season and the seacoast teams vying for the Division One title.  Jay gives his take on the teams that can be contenders in June.
