The fall sports season is well underway and hosts Sherm Chester and Sam Bruno are joined by Jeff Collins, Executive Director of the NHIAA on this edition of the SSF.
Jeff gives an update on the state of sports activity throughout the Granite State and the challenges of COVID and the 2021 season.
NHIAA approved tournament dates and potential sites are discussed.
Sherm and Jeff discuss the organizations website which has many educational and support resources for coaches, players and parents as well. The on going need for officials in all sports is a topic of importance.
During the Two Minute Drill the Red Sox playoff drive and the NFL debut of Exeter’s Hunter Long are reviewed.

Mike Murphy, the UNH Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications joins host Sherm Chester to take a comprehensive look at all the Wildcat sports programs for Fall 2021 in Durham.
The Wildcat Football team gets back onto the field after a curtailed spring campaign looking for a solid fall season and a return to the FCS championship tournament.
Mike also reviews the upcoming season for the Wildcat Soccer, Field Hockey and Cross Country teams and their standout players.
Sherm and Mike discuss the UNH WILDCAST. podcast and Mike’s experience broadcasting Wildcat sports and his mentor, N.H. broadcast legend Jim Jeannotte.

On this edition of the Forum Scott Bleakly is the special guest discussing the upcoming “Three States Unite to Battle ALS” baseball event July 16 at Hadlock Field in Portland.
The coach of the Northeast Tides of the North Shore Baseball League is an organizer for the event supporting the foundation set up in memory of the late Peter Frates, Boston College and Lexington Blue Sox standout player.
Also in this episode host Sherm Chester interviews former Exeter Bluehawk and current Tides pitcher Bobby Cliche, who talks about his days as a part of the back to back Division 1 state championships with the Bluehawks as well as his conditioning to stay focused as a member of the Tides in preparation for his return to college ball in the fall of this year.
Hosts Sam Bruno and Sherm Chester also discuss the impact of the new "foreign substance" rule on Major League Baseball pitchers.

The Bluehawk and Boston College Eagle baseball standout is anticipating his selection in the upcoming Major League Baseball draft in July.
